With a strong passion for environmental protection and action and an interest in healthy eating and fitness, in December 2017 Stewart and Leanne opened The Source Bulk Foods Balgowlah to provide a zero waste health food store to help the communities of the lower northern beaches.
The Source has over 400 amazing bulk food pantry products including nuts, grains, seeds, dried fruit, delicious chocolates, flours, pasta, paleo cereals, raw honeys, mueslis galore, rices, pulses, oils and superfoods. Organic food, gluten free, vegan and paleo products are also in abundance.
Everything that goes down our sinks at home ends up in our waterways, so we also stock environmentally friendly personal, laundry and kitchen cleaning products.
We have a great selection of products to help you live waste free, including water bottles, coffee keep cups, thermoses and lunch boxes. You are welcome to bring in your own containers, grab one of our jars, or fill up with the supplied paper bags. We’re located opposite Coles at Stockland Balgowlah, Condamine Street, so come in and enjoy our health food options, pantry staples and snacks.
