Since 2007, Dr Damon Thomas has been providing expert clinical care at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon subspecialising in paediatric hand, adult hand, microsurgery, reconstructive surgery, and all aspects of aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, Damon received his plastic and reconstructive surgery training in Auckland and Christchurch New Zealand, followed by Melbourne, Australia. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in 2005. Dr Damon Thomas was also appointed as a Paediatric Hand and Microvascular Surgeon at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
